Short but busy week! On Wednesday we had a fire safety presentation. All the children brought home some homework that reminds and reviews the importantance of fire safety! Please go over this with your child.
Our 100 Day was a big success! We were all impressed by the variety of collections and shirts that were created. All the students seemed to enjoy our celebration in the gym with the parade, a story, 100 day sing-a-long and then different 100 excercises!
During our forest fun, Div. 9 & 10 had the challenge of finding and putting together this puzzle - 100 different numbered post-its and then organizing it into a 100 chart!
Grandparent Day is on Tuesday, Feb. 25 9:30 in the classroom and then in the multipurpose room for a few presentations. Everyone is encouraged to invite a grandparent or special family member or friend but don't worry if no one is available as everyone is always willing to share their grandparent! Please check the portal for complete details.
Pink Kindness Parade is on Wednesday Feb. 26 in the morning. We will be walking through the neighbourhood with our buddies to spread kindness. We have made some special posters. Please try to wear pink or a kindness shirt.
Book Fair will be open in our library next week. I did not send home Scholastic this month so that we can support our library.
Skating field trip and conference sign up is also up on the portal. Please sign up asap.
